I am an addicted blogger and follow so many great blogs. One of my favorite is The Cutting Cafe new blog. This week, they offered a free digi stamp called Elisha Jean and friends with balloons. All they asked is that you post a project showing what you used the file for. Well, Elisha Jean reminds me of my little granddaughter Emily and I thought and thought. What can I use this for? This morning the light bulb went on. I had not yet scrapped the photos from Emily's 4th birthday which was a year ago. Perfect!! So, my crafting friends, here it is.
I have not got a clue where the background paper came from. I got it when Emily was born. The patterned paper and the journaling block are from Nikki Sivils and, of course, the digi is Elisha Jean from the Cutting Cafe. Isn't she just so cute?
I have one more project to post--a birthday card that I made for our niece who will turn 40 on Sunday. I used all papers from Anna Griffin and the card is from the SVG Cuts premium pop up cards file. They have some wonderful SVG 's and I have had so much fun with all of them. This time, I wanted something really easy and this card truly was.
Time to call it a posting day. I think my husband would like some dinner. Next week, I will have Emily's 5th Birthday card ready to show you. Can't wait. It is going to be adorable.

I have never entered one of Sketchy Thursdays challenges before. When they posted the sketch to us this morning, I thought it would be fun to try. Wish me luck
Hope you all are having a great and crafty week. I'll be having a couple of cards to post shortly.

Let's Try Another Thank You Post
,Happy and HOT, HOT, HOT Saturday morning
We are off to Grad Party today for our Granddaughter. Wish it would cool off some.
I just wanted to give credit to Heather M at Images by Heather M for the wonderful Class of 2011 Wordbook that she provided the design for. She has many, many amazing things on her blog. Be sure to check them out. Just google Images by Heather M and you will find it. Thanks again, so much, Heather.

A New Project
This post will be a little picture heavy (for me anyway). I just completed a very special Word Book/Mini Album for our Granddaughter's Graduation and am so very proud of it that I wanted everyone to see. What else can you do, but, stay inside where it is air conditioned when it is this hot
We got back yesterday from a short camping trip along Lake Ontario. It was so much cooler there. Tried to stay longer and no site available. Oh well, couple more weeks and we go to Watkins Glen for the Nascar Race and some relaxing across from the lake. Can't wait.
Time now for some photos. Hope you like them. Next project is a birthday card for our Granddaughter Emily for her fifth birthday. Got to get busy on that. By for now and hope you all have a great weekend.

Rainy Day in Campground
We are here, camping along Lake Ontario. Got in yesterday and it was so beautiful--about 92-94 degrees at home and here - maybe 82-84 degrees and very beautiful. Today, we are going to go do a little touring to see what the area has to offer. Thought I would post a couple of new layouts that I just uploaded to ScrapHappy and I really like them. Hope you are all having a happy and crafty week. I'll be back soon and, meanwhile, here they are--
